Custom Software Programming Since 1999, CMAG has offered custom software programming services to our clients. Over the past 5 years, we have delivered more than 10 unique server applications for a variety of companies and industries. Our programming is dedicated to server-based applications that are typically accessed via a web browser. Ideally suited to enabling web sites with data functionality, the final system could easlly serve staff in any internal office environment. Perhaps the best case is when internal and web-based applications need to be integrated, our server-based applications are a perfect solution in such cases. From the outset, CMAG made the decision to adopt the Java* programming language. Java* is ideally suited to server-based programming and offers significant time and cost savings over older programming languages. Over the last 2 years, we have also added the increasingly-popular PHP language to our menu of choices. Beyond the choice of core programming language is the choice of database technology. CMAG has always leveraged proven and powerful open-source database technology. Starting with Interbase (now known as Firebird) which had a 15 year history prior to being released to the open source community. Today, the PosGres SQL database offers widespread support and is known as one of the most full featured database foundations anywhere - it is also open source. Above all, since we pride ourselves on getting to know a clients' needs very well, we feel we can offer User Interface design that will make any custom programmed application easy for staff and/or customers to use - a significant benefit from any piece of software.
